| Abstract | The existence of coherent structures (ECs) near the rough surfaces constitutes an important subject of current micrometeorological research. In this study the (Mexican-hat) Wavelet Transform is used to separate average and turbulent fluctuation, and also to detect the scales where the ECs appear, under different conditions of atmospheric instability. One uses data of temperature and wind sampled at 21 Hz, in two different heights, in Pantanal Matogrossense, in the dry station (Experiment IPE-0). |
